Related Posts Thumbnails was updated and now it supports:
- php tag to use in theme Loop <?php get_related_posts_thumbnails(); ?>
- turning off automatic appending of related posts thumbnails to post if required
- sidebar widget is available on widgets dashboard (will be displayed on single post pages only)
- shortcode
- set title maximum length to 0 for no title
- excerpt can be added with specified length
